Did you receive any error messages when creating a commission in PO? If there's, can you please provide the exact wording of the error in detail? This will help me to give you an accurate explanation and resolution. 

 

In a meantime, let's do some primary troubleshooting steps to get rid of your commission problem. To begin, I'd recommend signing in to your account through incognito. This way, you can check if it's a browser-related issue. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Microsoft Edge)

 

From there, re-create a commission on the PO page to verify if it's already performing accurately. Make sure that the I purchase this product/service from a supplier box in your commission item is checked. This way, the item is visible and you can create it seamlessly.  

 

 

If that works, you'll want to clear the cache of your regular browser to eliminate previously-stored browsing data. Using another supported browser is a good decision too. 

 

Once done, you can now add purchase orders to expenses, bills, or cheques in QuickBooks Online. Then run either of these PO reports below to track all your data.
