Thank you for voicing your concern here in the Community spaces. @paramvir-bakshi. I'll be happy to help you send remittance advice with your bill payment transaction.

You're unable to send remittance advice when you are using an expense transaction. Remittance advice is only available when you send a bill payment.

So if you're trying to send remittance advice using an expense transaction, you'll need to delete the expense transaction and then create a bill so you can send the bill payment, including the remittance advice.

Here's how:

  1. Select Expenses on the left navigation bar.
  2. Select Filter, then select the Transaction Type Bill Payments.
  3. Apply additional filters if required, then Apply.
  4. Click on the transaction you wish to send remittance advice for.
  5. Select Batch Actions and select Send remittance.
  6. Update the email copy (if required) then send Send.

You also have the option of looking for a third-party app in the QuickBooks App store that integrates with QuickBooks and lets you send your remittance advice directly from your account.

You might as well check out this article in case you want to record bill payments in QuickBooks Online.

You're always welcome to come back if you have any other concerns. I'll be happy to assist you. Have a wonderful day!
