We're glad you posted here, @muganzamuganza89.

Let me help you add your bank to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Since you're unable to find your bank in the list, it might be you're using the incorrect name or bank URL. Feel free to read the guidance below on how to search your bank correctly:

  • Verify the spelling. Ensure the spelling is exactly as it appears on your bank's website.
  • Use specific names to search for your bank. If you still can't find anything, try broader names like "HSBC".
  • Enter your bank's URL into the search. For example, search for "hsbc.com." for HSBC.
  • Search for the name of the bank. Meaning the bank that issued your bank card. "Chase", "HSBC", or "Bank of America" should work, but "Visa" may be too generic.

If you check everything is correct and the issue persists, your bank might be unable to connect to all types of accounts and is not a participating financial institution. Considering that, we can request your bank support. Here's how:

  1. From the Transactions, choose Bank Transactions.
  2. Select Connect account.
  3. Type in your bank's name. If it's not there, click "Still can't find your bank?".
  4. Paste your Bank web address (URL) or name in the field, then tap Request.

Feel free to read this article for more info: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.

In the meantime, you can upload your transactions manually to QBO. You can read this article for detailed steps:  Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

If you encounter error messages while utilizing the banking section in QBO, you can read this article on how to fix them: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have additional questions about connecting your bank in QBO by replying to this post. I'll be willing to lend a hand. Have a good one.
