Once it validated, you should see the new payment information on your billing screen. Let's make sure you're able to successfully update your payment method for your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription.

 

We can perform troubleshooting steps to isolate this problem and make sure there's no underlying browser issue. We can start by accessing QuickBooks in a private window. Use these keyboard shortcuts below to open incognito/private window for browsers:

 

  • Google Chrome, press CTRL  + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press CTRL  + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: press CTRL  + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N 

 

Check if the payment method was successfully added. If not, try updating the payment method again.

 

If that works, you can go back to your regular browsing window and clear it's cache. This process will remove outdated and corrupted data that's causing some display issues and unusual behavior.

 

You may also check other supported browser that works best with QuickBooks Online.
