The ability to automatically apply processing fees for credit transactions is currently not available. Surcharges are managed differently in each state, beechgrovebandboo. However, I can provide you with an alternative way to achieve your goal.

As a workaround, you can manually add a credit card processing fee to your invoice to ensure your customers can pay the charges every time they make a payment.

Before we proceed, we'll have to create a service item first so that the created service item will show. Here's how:

    1. Go to Sales and select Products & services.
    2. Click New, then Service.
    3. In the Name field, enter the name of the service.
    4. From the Category ▼ dropdown, select the category that describes the fee.
    5. Select Save, then Done.

Once done, look for the specific invoice to add the credit card processing fee. I'll outline the steps below.

    1. Go to Sales, then Invoices.
    2. Select a specific invoice to add the charge and hit the Edit invoice.
    3. From the Product or service ▼ dropdown, select the service fee you created.
    4. In the Amount field, enter the service fee.
    5. You can Note to customer section (optional).
    6. Select Review and send.
