Let's get your mobile app up and running, @cheffaizel-tiolo.
Solving your crashed QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile applications is my focus here. Don't worry, I have various troubleshooting steps that you can follow so you can enter the expense amount seamlessly.
Let's check your QuickBooks number format by logging into your account through the browser. Proceed as follows:
- Go to the Gear icon on the upper right side.
- Select Account and Settings.
- Choose the Advanced button and click Other preferences.
- Pick the appropriate number format.
- Hit Save, then Done.
Once done, re-enter the expense amount again using the browser. This way, we can verify if the problem is in your application itself. Please note that this will also change the dollar amount's format in other transactions and reports.
If it works well in the browser, I'd recommend returning to your mobile application and entering the amount again. If the issue persists, let's reset your mobile app. This is the same as clearing the cache from your web browser.
For Android devices:
- Go to the Home tab or click the three dots on the right side, then select the Settings tab.
- Choose the Refresh Data menu.
- Hit Yes.
For iOS:
- Go to the Help menu.
- Select Reset App Data.
- Click OK.
If the problem continues, let's uninstall and reinstall the app for a clean slate. You do not need to worry since it won't delete any of your app's transactions or data.
Here's how:
- On your homepage, touch and hold the QuickBooks app.
- Click Remove, then tap the Delete App to confirm.
- Install the app again.
- Then enter the amount again to verify if it's already performing well.
