Currently, there is no built-in payroll capability for QuickBooks Online International. That is why the Payroll tab is not showing in your QuickBooks Online account.

 

As a workaround, you can manually enter the accounting data for your payroll using the journal entry feature. The steps below will guide you through the complete steps.

 

  1. Go to the +New button.
  2. Select Journal Entry.
  3. Under Date, select the paycheque date.
  4. Input Entry # for the journal entry. (Optional)
  5. Debit and Credit accounts:
    1. Debit expense account used to track gross wages. 
    2. Debit expense account used to track Employer Contribution.
  6. Credit Bank account payroll is deducted from.
