Welcome to QuickBooks Community, useraccounts12.

I'd like to make sure that I fully understand your concern. Are you trying to set up subcontractors in QuickBooks Online? If so, let me show you how.

We're unable to add a subcontractor in QuickBooks Online. The best option I can suggest is to add a new supplier. Please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Expenses tab and select then Suppliers.
  2. Click New Supplier and enter the details needed in the Supplier Information window.
  3. Select Save and close.

If you need to pay subcontractors, you can check the detailed steps here: How to pay a subcontractor from time sheet entries.

Also, please leave a comment below if you're referring to something else. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

I'm wishing you all the best! Take care!

@useraccounts12

You may explore a construction management app with the subcontractor feature to integrate with your QBO account.
