Where is the Show Existing link in our transactions? Why was it removed??

There used to be a link "Show Existing" under Attachments where if we click we can Add unlinked Attachments to that Transaction. I just noticed it wasn't there anymore. Can you restore this?

Please see attached.

Under Attachment, there used to be a "Show Existing" clickable link, which enables us to add unlinked Attachments to that particular Transaction.

But now its no longer there

It seems like you're experiencing a browser-related issue. Please know that QuickBooks Online uses cache to load the page quickly. However, it may cause issues when it gets full. 

 

To confirm, we can use an incognito or private browser. You can use the following keyboard shortcut keys according to your preferred regular browser:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

 

Log in to your QuickBooks account, then check if the Show Existing link in your transactions button is there. If that works, follow the steps to clear your main browser's cache

 

Otherwise, try using another supported, up-to-date browser.

I just opened a ticket on this and the first responses involved browser caching...use a different browser and finally...the link never existed! Talk about gaslighting!

 

Bring back the "Show Existing" link.
