Yes, you can update the login details for the other company, ensuring each one has distinct sign-in information. I'll guide you through the process, AMH.

First, you'll need to choose an email address for the second company or the one you will be modifying. We'll call this email B, while the existing one is email A. Then, refer to the steps below to initiate separate credentials:

  1. Sign in to your first QuickBooks Online (QBO) company using the current email associated with both.
  2. Invite email B to the company. Select a user type and choose Primary Admin to gain access to every part of the QBO account. Please note that only admins can send invites.
  3. Check your inbox for email B and click the invite link. Once done, Email B can now access the company.

QBO has a maximum number of users per subscription. If you see a user limit prompt, please check out this article to learn more and know what to do: Usage limits in QuickBooks Online.

The steps I've laid out above should help you achieve your goal, AMH. If you require assistance or have other questions about managing your sign-in information or user roles and access rights, let me know by sending a reply in the comment section.
