I'm here to help you access your clients' accounts, Riana.

To start, let's make sure your clients give you permission to review their books and make changes. Then, ensure you're using the user ID your client sent the invite to.

If it's correct, let's see which clients are connected to your firm. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online Accountant account.
  2. Select the arrow next to Go to QuickBooks.
  3. Look for your client's company.

If you're still unauthorised, I'd recommend following Solution 3 in this article: Find Missing Client Companies.

In case none of these fixes the problem, I'd recommend accessing your account via a private window. This is a good place to determine if this is a browser-related issue. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

If it works, let's clear the browser's cache. This ensures the program performs efficiently.

You can also use other supported browsers. They'll provide the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.

I'm also adding this article that'll help you learn more about reviewing their books to ensure they're accurate: Manage Client's Company.

Please keep us posted if you have additional questions or concerns about the process. This way, we can ensure you can successfully work on your clients' files.
