Let me help you fix the error that you're getting, Stiens1.

You'll get this error when QuickBooks is unable to locate your account on your bank or financial institution's website. Apart from this, Error 106 usually happens when you're trying to connect an account but have chosen the wrong one.

You'll have to make sure to try all connections using the bank name, the bank's website, and the bank login URL after the customer has logged into their bank account outside of QuickBooks Online (QBO). To check your bank or credit card's website, follow the steps provided below:

  1. Go to the Banking menu, then select Banking.
  2. Select Link account
  3. Search for your bank and select it.
  4. Copy the URL listed for your bank.
  5. Sign in to your bank or credit card's website using the copied URL.

If you can sign in, it's a good sign that there aren't major issues. To give more details on the process, I've added this article for reference: What To Do If You Get A Bank Error Or Can't Download Transactions In QuickBooks Online.
