Hello and thanks for reaching out to us here, jonty-yourwaterp.

I'm here to share some insights about your situation.

When you connect your bank account in QuickBooks, this is a one way process only. All QuickBooks does is pull a record of your transactions, so you can categorise them in the program.

To secure your account, you'll want to follow Fiat Lux - ASIA's suggestion to change the password, or contact your bank to review your login history.

If you need to edit/update your sign-in information in QuickBooks, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Banking on the left navigation menu and select the Banking tab.
  2. Choose the specific bank account.
  3. Click the pencil icon to the right of the bank name and select Edit sign-in info.
  4. Enter your bank website User ID and Password and click Update sign-in info. QuickBooks Online will connect with your bank to verify the details.
  5. Once you see the message that your credentials have been updated, hit I'm done, Let's go!
