I am trying to amend a petty cash expense.system asks for a password. which password is required?

Hello there, @ravbizsa.

 

It's possible that someone might have closed the books and added a password. Let's check if the books are closed in QuickBooks.
 
  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Go to the Advanced tab,
  4. Under the Accounting section.
  5. Check if the Books is close.
