We currently don't have a reported syncing issue with Standard Bank of South Africa, shopsecretaire-o.

I'm here to share the details about this error and how to take care of it.

The error 176 is a script error generated by the bank that may cause a synching issue. I'd recommend reporting the error to our engineers to fix this. Here's how:

  1. Go to Bookkeeping and then select Transactions.
  2. Choose Banking or Transactions.
  3. Select Report Issue within the error message.
  4. Enter your name and email address.
  5. Click Submit.

For now, let's manually update your bank account. It refreshes the connection, so it'll download the transactions. I'll show you how.

  1. Go to Bookkeeping and then select Transactions.
  2. Choose Banking or Transactions.
  3. Select the blue tile for the bank account.
  4. Click Update.
  5. If prompted, enter your Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) credentials.
  6. After that, click Continue Update.

For additional troubleshooting steps, please see this article: What To Do if you Get a Bank Error or Can't Download Transactions.

Once fixed, let's go to the For Review tab. There, you can edit, assign, and categorize the transactions to ensure your financial records are correct.

I'm only a post away if you need further assistance with the process. It's my priority to ensure this error gets resolved. Keep safe always!
