Linking of a Std Bank account - Error 176

Good day

 

My Director is trying to link her Standard Bank Current acc to QBO but it shows up as error 176.

Please assist urgently!

Error 176 falls under the category of a general script error and needs to be reported to our team so they can continue to troubleshoot the issue on their end. You can do this right within your account.

 

  1. Click Banking, then go to the Banking page.
  2. Within the error message, you should see 'Report Issue'.
  3. Enter your name and email address.
  4. Click Submit.

 

That will send all the information our engineers need to look into the error you are receiving. Just to make sure I set the right expectations, this can take about 2-3 business days. In some instances the issue is resolved sooner. The nice thing is that they will be in communication with you once it's resolved. 

 

If you run into any issues reporting this error yourself, you can reach out to our team and one of our support agents can report the issue for you.

 

  1. While logged into your account, click Help in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. In the description field, type in "Error 176",  then click Let's talk.
  4. Select either Start messaging or Get a callback.
