Hi There,

I’m currently using Quickbooks Desktop 2017 Pro (Home) version for 1 user plus accountant here in Pretoria, South Africa. Which Online version will accommodate everything that is currently offered in the 2017 version. I do not want to pay for something that will not be used. I currently run 4 different companies on my 2017 version - will one single online version accommodate all 4 companies or will I have to pay for each company separately. If this is the case then I am wasting my time.

Will I be able to migrate the data from my 2017 version online to one of your options. Can you give me a better price than the discount currently offered for 3 months.

I'll help with your questions about migrating to QuickBooks Online, Andre.

First, not all features in the Desktop version are available in QBO. This includes Sales Order, calendar, and sub-total. Check out this article for more details (they are US-based article since there's no Desktop version outside of USA, UK, and Canada):

Second, you need to create a separate subscription per company. One company requires one subscription in QuickBooks Online.

Third, there's no direct way of migrating a QuickBooks Desktop US, Canada, or UK Desktop to a localized version of QuickBooks Online. Although, you can use a third-party app to help you convert your data to QBO South Africa.
