I can help you figure out why your QuickBooks data is missing, Werner.

 

I have some troubleshooting steps to help get back your QuickBooks data. This way, you can get back up and running. 

 

Ensure that you are logged in to the proper QuickBooks company account. Once confirmed, I'd recommend checking the Audit Log report to review your account activities. This way, we can verify if someone tampered with the data.

 

Go as follows:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Audit log under the Tools column.
  2. Select All user and All events in the drop-down.
  3. Pick appropriate Date change in the field. 
  4. Click Apply to reflect the changes and review the activities.

If no one changes your transactions, I'd recommend logging into your account through incognito mode. This way, we can see if the problem is with the browser. QuickBooks can act in strange ways when you have too much cache in your regular browser. 

 

Here are the shortcuts for the keyboard:

 

  • Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
  •  Control + Option + P (Safari)
  •  Ctrl + Shift + P (Microsoft Edge)

 

Once logged in, review your data again if it's already there. If fixed, please return to your regular browser and press the CTRL+ Shift and Delete keys on the keyboard to clear the cache.
