My subscription is up to date however on the computer it says it's not .. I have tried everything you have recommended

I can't update my invoice  my my computer  as it says my subscription  is not up to date

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, @catygreve. Making sure your invoice is updated is a great way to keep track everything correctly. Worry not whenever you encounter problem performing the process, I've came with the step to help get rid of that error. 

 

To resolve the error, let's first check your subscription details. We have to ensure that the information are correctly entered. Here's how:

 

  1. Open your QBO account and click the Gear icon.
  2. Next, click the Account and Settings menu.
  3. Then, select Billing & Subscription.
  4. From there, make sure that all Billing & Subscription fields are completed.
  5. After that, verify your credit card details.
  6. Lastly, confirm that the address for the credit card matches the address in your QBO settings. 

 

Once done, close and reopen your QBO account. Then, go back to the Invoice page and edit the transaction. For more information, check out this article: Update billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

 

If you still experience the same thing, let's now perform some browser troubleshooting steps. 

 

To start, access your account using an incognito browser. Private mode will give you a clean slate and does not store cache and cookies. These speeds up the loading process of pages you visit but sometimes gets corrupted that cause errors when opening websites. Below are the shortcut keys you can use:

 

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Microsoft Edge: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.

 

Once signed in, update the invoice again. If you successfully perform the task, I recommend clearing the cache of your regular browser to eliminate old and damage cache files. If you're unable to do so, I suggest accessing your QBO account using another supported browser or device as an alternatives.
