Which QuickBooks plan is the best to use?

The best QuickBooks Plan is the one that has the features you can use for your company. I will help you by presenting the list of plans, so you can choose the one for your business.

 

I assume you're tracking inventories because you're doing wholesale, retail, and manufacturing, so I suggest subscribing to QuickBooks Online Plus. It's the only plan that has an Inventory tracking feature and is mostly used by businesses similar to yours. Check out our list of plans to see the other features of the said plan. You can sign up for a trial account or take advantage of the discount when you pay during sign up.

Hi thanks for your response. I selected an option for simple start, how can I move over to the plus version?

Welcome back ashysamsoodin, and thanks for your follow-up. I'd be glad to help walk you through the process of upgrading your QuickBooks Simple Start to the Plus version. 

 

In choosing the appropriate QBO plan, you'll have to consider the needs of your business. Since our Plus version meets them, you can upgrade your current subscription level (Simple Start). Let's go to the Billing & Subscription menu to do this. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary or company admin.
  2. Select Settings ⚙ and then Account and settings.
  3. Select the Billing & subscription tab.
  4. Make sure your payment info is up to date.
  5. In the QuickBooks Online section, select Upgrade your plan.
  6. Review the available plans and then select Choose plan.
  7. Follow the onscreen steps to upgrade your plan.

Just a reminder that if you purchased your Simple Start with a discount and then upgraded to QBO Plus, the discount from your initial subscription will not apply to your upgraded one.
