Question

Can anyone tell me how to change my logo. I have gone into company settings and clicked the edit button but it goes to a washed out grey screen and then does nothing?

It's my pleasure to be of assistance, jm. We can work together to fix the issue when uploading the logo on your company file in QuickBooks (QBO).

We can perform the browser troubleshooting steps to isolate your browser to work better and faster. Also, this is likely a cache-related issue, and we can rule this out by using a private or incognito window.

Use these shortcut keys to open an incognito window:

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.

After then, log in to your QuickBooks account and try changing the logo again. Once, able to change it, go back to the regular browser, and clear the cache. To remove the webpage data that's causing the issue. Though, you can also use another supported browser.

Additionally, please ensure that the logo size requirement is smaller than 10 MB. Please see this article to learn more about managing logos in QBO: Add, customize, or remove logos on sales forms.

Furthermore, feel free to check these resources that will help you with personalizing your QBO account to whatever you need to change:

I'll be here if you need further help managing your company settings. Keep safe always!

Thanks for posting in the Community, BzMix.

Let's troubleshoot this issue together so your company has a logo that best represents it.

First, ensure that your logo is in the correct format. It should be a file with the extension .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg and should be smaller than 10 MB. Also, the logo should have a bit depth (or colour depth) of 24 bits or less and be square-shaped. Rectangles won't work with the standard RGB colour space. If your logo is in CMKY format, you'll need to convert it to an RGB image using tools like Adobe Photoshop before uploading it to QuickBooks Online.

If you've confirmed your logo is in the correct format and are still having trouble changing it, I recommend following the steps my colleague mentioned above. These troubleshooting procedures are intended to address cache-related issues that may be interfering with page loading.

You can check out this article for more info on using logos on sales forms: Add, customize, or remove logos on sales forms. It also contains the steps to take if you can't upload a logo.

For future reference, here's an article on getting your data out of QuickBooks: Export reports, lists, and other data from QuickBooks Online.

Please let me know how the troubleshooting goes. If you have any further questions or concerns about logos in QuickBooks, please do not hesitate to leave a reply below. I'm here to assist you.
