Welcome aboard to the Community, paul-duncan.

Yes, you can change the terms to 7 days. Here's how to get this done:

  1. Click the Plus icon at the top.
  2. Select Invoice.
  3. Enter the necessary information.
  4. In the Terms field, click the drop-down menu and select + Add new.
  5. Enter the Name of the new term.
  6. Choose the tick-box Due in fixed number of days, then enter 7 on the box beside the days.
  7. Hit Save
