Question

Error lodging a single pay event with ATO, have re tried 3 days. Lodgement status is Awaiting response from ATO. Please advise. Previous pay events lodge ok.

The Awaiting response from ATO happens when the ATO is busy and we keep attempting to feed the data to the ATO and are awaiting final ATO confirmation of success or failure submission.

 

If it has been more than 72 hours from the time you submitted the pay event, we recommend contacting the ATO first to confirm if there was a submission received or not.

 

If in the event the ATO received the submission on their end, please contact our Customer Care Team to request and update the pay event status in QuickBooks Online Payroll.
