Thanks for your message and welcome to the community! 

When you are in the balance sheet report, are you not able to manipulate the date range to get the desired date you're looking for?

Try selecting Custom then use the date range value fields to select your dates.

Once you're happy with that, select Run Report.

Come back to us if you are still not able to generate the report you need.
