Hi there. Im having issues updating my payment info. My card has expired and when I try to update it it says I don't have permission. Help please

Thanks for reaching out to the Community forum, @matt63.

 

To update the subscription billing details of your QuickBooks Online account, you'll need to sign as the Master or Company Admin. Since you've been prompt that you don't have permission, you'll need to contact your company's Master Administrator to change your user access rights.

 

Once you already have access rights to update the payment method of your subscription, here's what you'll need to do:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top, then choose Account and Settings
  2. Pick Billing Subscription from the left menu. 
  3. Select Edit ✎ beside your payment method.
  4. Update your credit card info. 
  5. Make sure the address in QuickBooks is the same as the one on your credit card statement.
  6. Once everything’s good, select Confirm card or Save.
