I can show you how to adjust the column width of the report in QuickBooks Online, @david252.

First, try checking the computer's display settings to make sure you can view the entire account's name. To display all pages and reports properly. Check this article for more information: Unable to see the entire page in QuickBooks Online.

If you still need to adjust the report columns, you can hover your mouse beside the column header and drag the scale width icon to the left or right.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu and run the report that you'd like to customize.
  2. Hover your mouse on the column border until you see the scale width icon.
  3. Drag the icon to adjust the column width.

Here's also a guide on how to run reports in QuickBooks Online and to customise reports in QuickBooks Online to get the most out of it.

Fill me in if you have other questions about generating reports and customizing them in QuickBooks. I'm always here to help. Have a wonderful day and keep safe!

When displaying reports, the columns will not go smaller. I can drag and make them wider. What happens is every column to the right moves to the right. I can then return it to the "standard" size, but cannot make it smaller by dragging to the left. Its a problem because often the columns are far too wide and I cannot see everything on my screen.

Let me join this thread to help you with reports, david252.

You'll want to zoom out the page so that you'll see the entire report. This could be the reason why you can't see everything on your screen. Simply press Ctrl + minus (-) on your keyboard.

Also, you can hide the left panel by clicking the burger icon or three horizontal lines at the top. This way, you'll have enough space when viewing the report.
