How do I change the accountant listed in my quickbooks?

This is easy, cozyalf.

 

You'll have to delete the old accountant so you can add a new one.

 

To delete:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, select Manage Users.
  2. Select the Accounting firms tab, then locate the accountant you want to remove.
  3. From the Action drop-down, select Delete.
  4. Click Delete to confirm.

Once done, add the new accountant to access your company file. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, select Manage Users.
  2. Under Accounting firms tab, click Invite Accountant.
  3. Enter accountant's email address.
  4. Click Next then Finish.

The Accountant will receive an email invitation. They will be asked to create a user ID before signing in the first time, unless they already have an account. They just have to select the Click here link.
