Hi there, morriskefford.

The error code appears when we're unable to process the payment or update the billing information.

I suggest logging in to your bank's website to check if the billing information entered into QuickBooks matches the bank's records

If the issue persists, I suggest logging into your QuickBooks account using a private browser to see if we get the same result. And, this method prevents cookies from being stored on your computer, making it a great place to identify browser problems.

Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using.

  • For Internet Explorer of Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

If the steps above work and don't have any problem using a private browser, I recommend clearing the cache of your regular browser. This eliminates the stored files so it helps the browser to function efficiently. If not, use other supported browsers.

If the issue continues to occur, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team.

Here's how to contact them:

1. Open your QuickBooks Account.

2. At the top right, click the Help icon.

3. Click Contact Us.

4. Under What can we help you with?, enter your concern about showing Tax Registration No.

5. Click Let's Talk.

6. You'll be routed into the Choose a way to connect with us page.

  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.
  • Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.

7. Select how you want to contact them and fill in the information.
