I am getting daily mail bounce alerts in my mail log because the system keeps trying to re-send mail to an old account.

I had an old email address in the system for leave requests, I have now updated the email, but the system keeps resending the old emails and I keep getting Mail log alerts (daily) saying the email was resent and bounced. There is no way within the Mail log to rectify the issue or to clear the alerts.

Hi marli1,

 

Let's check your notification settings to verify what is turned on in the payroll account. Here's how:

 

  1. Click on the Employees tab.
  2. Click on Manage Employees.
  3. Click on Notification.
  4. Check what is turned on and make corrections if needed.

Furthermore, have you checked the email address in the Business details to check if it is correct? Here's how:

 

  1. Click on the Employees tab.
  2. Click on Payroll Settings.
  3. Click on Details.
  4. Locate the email address field.

Another area to check is the Manage Users and Employee portal settings which can be found when going to the Payroll Settings page.
