Question

I am unable to get my bank feeds from the Bendigo Bank. I have tried changing my bank password but it still does not work. I have checked the logon id and that is fine.

Welcome to Community, goldfields1.

I'm here to help get bank feeds working in QuickBooks Online.

You can manually update your bank feeds, and see if it downloads your bank transactions. You can follow the steps below for the process:

  1. Go to the Banking menu from the left navigation panel.
  2. Select the Banking tab.
  3. Choose the bank account.
  4. Click the Update button.

If the issue persists, I recommend following the additional solutions found in this article and go directly to steps 3 and 4: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Otherwise, download a Web Connect file or CSV from your bank's website and import it to QuickBooks Online. I've got some articles here for the instructions:

Don't hesitate to post again if you have additional queries about connecting or updating your bank in QuickBooks Online. I'm always here to help.

Thanks for the reply.

I had tried editing by logon details in the QBO banking screen and it won't connect as it comes back with error 103, but I've checked the logon id and password on the Bendigo Bank website and it's fine.

I had tried creating a manual .csv file and was able to import a transaction, but I'd like to know what will happen when I get bank feeds working again and it uploads those same transactions which I've loaded through a .csv file.

I thought it might have been my computer security issue so I tried it on an ipad and received the same problem.

I appreciate your prompt reply, @goldfields1.

I've checked here on my end and found an open investigation where some users are unable to update their Bendigo Bank. Rest assured our engineering team is working diligently to fix this.

In the meantime, you'll want to manually import your bank transactions to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. This way, you can still manage your business seamlessly. I'll show you how.

  1. Log in to your Bank website and follow the instructions to download the file as QBO, .CSV, or .QFX (maximum file size 350KB).
  2. Ensure to download only those transactions that haven’t been downloaded to your account to avoid duplicates.
  3. Once done, go to the Banking or Transactions menu.
  4. Select Upload transactions or Upload from file.
  5. Click the Drag and drop or select files box and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Continue.
  6. From the QuickBooks account drop-down, select your Bendigo Bank account, then select Continue.
  7. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks, then select Continue
  8. Select the transactions you would like to import and click Continue
  9. Click Yes to import the transaction and click Done

You can also check this link for more details about the process: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

When everything is all in place, you can now categorise and reconcile your accounts whenever you're ready.

Furthermore, I'd suggest contacting our support team. This way, they'll add you to the list of affected users and be notified via email once this gets resolved.

I appreciate your patience while we’re working to fix this. In case you have any other concerns or questions about your bank transactions, you can always tag me in your reply. I’m always around to back you up!
