For some reason, your bank might have a system update or making a change, @kapipi_hanara-ou. I know this isn't the service you're expecting to have. Rest assured, I'll be sharing information about bank connections.

In this case, I suggest checking on your bank's website. This way, you'll know if there are notifications that need your attention, like system maintenance. You can also contact your bank to see if they have an ongoing issue from their end. These are a few of the reasons why bank connections are disconnected.

Here's how to reconnect your bank if you're using an internet browser:

  1. Click the Settings ⚙ icon and select Bank accounts.
  2. Select Connect another account.
  3. In the search box, enter the bank's name and account type, i.e., Lloyds Bank Business, Lloyds Bank Personal, or Lloyds Bank Commercial.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your account. QuickBooks Self-Employed will automatically download your recent bank transactions.

If you find duplicate transactions, you can exclude them if you have reviewed that this has been added from your previous connection.

For more information about reconnecting your bank account, take a peek at this article: Reconnect your bank account in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Also, may I know the name of your financial institution? This way, I can check if there are recent investigations and cases on our end. Helping you get the best fixes.

Should you have other concerns or clarifications with connecting your bank, feel free to comment anytime. I can help you here. Have a nice day ahead!
