Is there any report that shows which supplier bills don't have attachments

Hi kayelaw,

 

Currently, there's no specific report showing supplier bills with or with out attachments. In the meantime, you can go Expenses tab and filter the transactions with attachments. Here's how:

 

  1. Click on the Expenses tab.
  2. Under Expenses, click on the small settings icon right above ACTIONS column.
  3. Click on Show more, and tick box for Attachments.
  4. Click on Filter button and select the transaction Type and Date range.
  5. Download or Print the report if needed to.

I can see how helpful for you and your business to be able to get a report with out attachments. I can definitely add this to our report for product enhancements and let our Product Development team know. You can also send your feedback about the product enhancements through your QuickBooks Online account and click on Settings and then Feedback.

    These instructions do not seem to work me.   No attachments at all show

    Hi kayelaw,

     

    Thank you for your response. Allow me to share with you how to identify which supplier bills that don't have attachments in QuickBooks Online.

     

    1. On the left navigation pane, select Expenses tab or Bookkeeping> Transactions> Expenses.
    2. Click on Settings ⚙ and tick Attachments.
    3. Click Filter.
    4. On Type dropdown menu, select Bill.
    5. You can filter the status, date and payee.
    6. Select Apply.

     

    The attachment column (shows as a paperclip) will indicate if you have 1 or 2 attachments on a transaction. If it is blank that means that the transaction has no attachment. Please see screenshot below for your reference.
