Hi marigoldinmay-gm,

Did you originally sign up to the QuickBooks Online Australia page?

I'm also conscious that any kind of Virtual Private Network (VPN) that you have connected to can mask your IP address and replace it with one from another country.

Would love some more information here to better assist you.

It's possible. I believe I searched google for Quickbooks Online and just clicked what came up without verifying. But it was Australia that it defaulted to, so it's highly likely. I'm in the U.S. I was able to change the currency to USD but not the Australian version of an EIN number, and I wonder if it wil cause problems down the road. Any way to change it? Thanks for any help.

Where is your company located? AU or else?

Open a new blank QBO US version

https://quickbooks.grsm.io/US

https://quickbooks.grsm.io/us-promo

then you may have 2 options:

1. Utilize a 3rd party migration tool

2. Purchase a 3rd party conversion service.
