Running balance does not show when recociling

When using the reconciliation tool within QuickBooks Online the process is based on the beginning and ending balance of the period you are reconciling, not the running balance. It is important no matter the period e.g. weekly, fortnightly or monthly that you rely on the bank statement to let you know what the beginning and ending period balances to ensure you can balance the books.
