Running Quickbooks Accountant.Team member has changed email address and it's already connected to another QBO file.Can I resend him an invite to my file?

Hello there, r-petrie1.

 

Yes, you can resend an invite using their updated email address. It helps them to continue their tasks to a particular QBO company.

 

  1. Go to Settings ⚙.
  2. Select Manage Users.
  3. Find the user and select Delete under the Action column.
  4. Once deleted, add them again using the correct email address. We can check this article for more details: Add and manage users in QuickBooks Online.

 

Another way is to change their email address in QBO. Gear icon>  Manage Users>  Edit> modify their email address> Save. 

 

To update an email from the Team menu, we can follow these steps:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks company.
  2. Go to the Team menu.
  3. In  the Access tab, find the team member and select Edit in the Action column.
  4. Make any changes you need. Update their email address.
  5. Click Save.
