When emailing reports the downloaded report has texts and tables over another. The report xls is unreadable can you send it as a PDF file. I am using iOS

Thanks for letting me know the type of device you're using in navigating QuickBooks. Can you share the name of the report you've emailed and downloaded?

If you mean the Mileage log or Tax details report, we're unable to download it as a PDF file. These reports will only be emailed and downloaded as a spreadsheet file because both of them composes of all your recorded transactions. It’s how the Mileage log and tax details report works.

For the other financial reports in QuickBooks Self-employed, we can email and import them as PDF. Let me include the steps on how to do it. Here's how:

1. Let’s go to the Menu ☰ icon.
2. Within the Reports page, send this report to whom you want to email it. When the recipient downloads these reports, they’ll be imported as PDF files.

In case you don’t know yet, we’ll be able to download all reports directly, even if they are not emailed using a browser. Let's see this sample screenshot:
