Question

Why does CommBank still give me a 324 error after I’ve sent in the “connect a bank account” paperwork?

I want to share some information about this error you're getting. This is usually caused when QuickBooks is unable to connect with your bank or credit card website, because of the following reasons:

  • The bank or credit card company changed your account or has moved it to a new server.
  • The account name or other info on your bank or credit card company's website is updated.
  • You are issued with a new account or credit card.
  • Bank or credit card account is closed.

Don't worry, I have some instructions you can follow to try and get your bank feed connected again. Use the steps below:

  1. Log into your QuickBooks account and go to the Banking tab.
  2. Click on the account that's having the issue, then select the Pencil Icon to edit.
  3. Select Edit Account Info.
  4. Fill in the details of your bank account and try to re-establish the connection with the bank feed.

Let me know how this works for you and if it re-connects the bank account successfully. I'll be right here if you need further assistance. Have a good day!
