Why does it say " In order for the payroll component to function, we first need you to adjust your cookie settings." when I am using the app omn MAC.

I have never had this issue before.... I am not using a browser - I am using the APP.

A ticket has been implemented about getting an error when accessing payroll through QBO Desktop and Mac app: "Cookies Disabled"

 

Our Product Team had found a fix for this issue, and is currently available in the Beta version of the web app. We expect it to be released early next week.

 

As a workaround, you can access your QuickBooks Online (QBO) and payroll through support web browsers.

 

I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Online Technical Team so they can add your account to the investigation (INV-41034). This way, you'll receive updates regarding the issue via email.

 

Here's how to get in touch with them:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks account.
  2. Click (?) Help at the right top.
  3. Select Contact Us to connect with a live agent.
  4. Enter a brief discussion of your concern, then click Let's talk.
  5. Choose a way on how to get in touch with them.
