Why does the finalisation event report show zero amounts?

Quarterly pay event for closely held employees show successful with amounts but the Finalisation Event for all schedules show zero.

Hello lopresti,

 

Let's check if the employee settings are correct and are set to report employees on each pay run. Here's how:

 

  1. Click on the Employees tab.
  2. Select the employee affected, and open the employee profile.
  3. Click on Pay Run Defaults.
  4. Scroll down to  STP income types and see if the employee is set to report employee each pay run.
  5. Click on Save.

 

Please repeat the same process for other employees and once the above is verified, let's go to the STP page. 

 

  1. Go to the Employees tab.
  2. Click on Reports
  3. Click on Single Touch Payroll.
  4. Click on Create an updated event.
  5. Verify if employees are now showing on the pay event.
  6. Lodge the updated event.
  7. Start a new finalisation process.

If the issue persists, let's go back to the Reports tab and go to Single Touch Payroll and check if there is no pending Finalisation event, if there is one please delete it first and start a new one.
