Question

Sorry, we don’t currently support connecting to a client’s QuickBooks Online company from a different region. How can I fix the above issue?

I got a client with business entity on different region. They invite me into their QBO and the above error message came out after I clicked into their invitation. Please advise.

Welcome to the Community, @jacques4. I'm here to share information about the error you encounter when accepting client invites.

 

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can only accept client invites under the same region. As a workaround, you may need to ask them to invite you as a company Administrator to have access to their file. Below are the steps to perform:

 

  1. In your QBO account, click the Gear icon.
  2. Next, choose the Manage users option.
  3. Then, go to the Users tab and select Add user.
  4. Select Company admin then, click Next.
  5. Enter the needed info and select Save.
