I cannot adjust rows in quickbooks online by dollar amounts or %'s as we could in QBDesktop. We have seasonal changes to just making each month the same number is worthless for us. Can QBO please allow rows in budgets by %'s or $? Please. Otherwise we have to take each row and manually do the math and adjust each month this way. We have 256 categories in QB. so that is 3072.00 individual calculations to have a workable budget we can use. Please please please change this.

Hi, buckvantrease.

 

The option of adding or allowing rows by % in creating a budget is currently unavailable. You can run another report and customize it if you want to add/filter the percentage.

 

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and then, select Budgeting.
  2. Find your budget on the list.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow below the Action column and then, select Run Budget vs. Actual report.
  4. Select the Customize button.
  5. From the Rows/Column, make sure to mark the box % of Budget.
  6. Press Run report.
