Change accounting date once items processed?

In QuickBooks Online, we can change the first month of the fiscal year, and then you can set your first month of the tax year to either follow that or choose January.

I'll be happy to help you, but may I know what you mean by "accounting date"? If you mean changing the first month of your fiscal year, you can follow the steps below.

1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Accounts and settings.
2. Select the Advanced and click the Accounting section.
3. Change the first month of the fiscal year. You can also change the start month of the tax year.
4. Click Save, and then Done.
