Self employed Upload data to ATO

The steps you mentioned are applicable for the QuickBooks Online version only. QuickBooks Self-Employed provides the functionality to charge GST on Invoices for tracking and reporting purposes only. Lodging your GST needs to be done manually and directly to the ATO website. 

You can use and download the tax detail or tax summary report on lodging your GST to the ATO website. Here's how:

1. Click on the Reports tab.
2. Select from Tax summary or Tax Detail report.
3. Select a tax year and click on View or Download.

Once done, you can log in directly to the ATO website and enter the details needed or call the ATO if you need more assistance on the process.
