Question

Hi - I use Quickbooks online for my Sauce Manufacturing business - I am looking to integrate my raw material input; recipe production and outputs. Is this possible?

Good day, dianne6.

QuickBooks Online doesn't have an assembly feature that can track the item you build using other products. Instead, you can set up a bundle. This lets you create an item that is consists of two or more products.

You need to add first the raw materials before you can create a bundle.

  1. Go to the Sales menu and select Product and Services.
  2. Select New or Add a product or service and choose either Inventory or Non-inventory.
  3. Enter the details and tap Save and close.

For bundle, follow the same steps but choose Bundle. You can check these links on how to manage products and services in QuickBooks Online.

If this feature won't work for you, you'll want to visit the Apps menu. From there, you can see the list of supported third-party applications that has a manufacturing-related feature.

Comment below if you need anything else. Stay safe!

@dianne6

Explore one app with a simple assembly feature to integrate it with your QBO account. Company has acquired it last year to be part of the family.

Should you need more feature to manage your manufacturing process, consider integrate this app to your account.
