Question

I connected QB Online trial to Power BI to test the integration, and it worked great, but after buying QB it doesn't work anymore. The apps tab on the left is also gone.

You may be experiencing some browser-related issues, usergerhard.

 

We can fix this by opening QuickBooks on a private window. It is the best place to identify any browser-related concerns.

 

You can use these keyboard shortcuts to open one:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

If you're able to add one, we can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Once the cache is piled up, it can cause any unexpected issues on the opened pages.

 

We can also switch to a different browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.

Hi - Thanks for the reply. It didn't work though. The app option on the menu is still gone. I've tried to reach out via call, but no one could help me, so I'm still stuck.

  1. Click on Help.
  2. Repeatedly search for the word human.
  3. If asked to specify your concern, click on See examples.
  4. Choose I still need a human.
  5. Click on Contact Us and choose how you want to reach our support.
