Imported transactions previously done in excel... Now they all appear (500 of them) under BILLS - I hear that this is wrong and bill are for items bought on account

I'd like to ensure that we're on the same page so I can give you the right amount of information in fixing this issue.

To start with, may I ask what type of transactions are you trying to import? If these are bank transactions, how did you imported them? Was is from the Banking Tab or from the Gear icon in QuickBooks?
