Paying Bills Captured on Quickbooks

Hi,

 

It seems that in SA we do not have the option to pay bills we have imported or created via Quickbooks.  Is this correct, surely their must be a function that allows us to pay the bill via this platform instead of going to our banking platform.  It seems all the videos online refers to other countries where that option is available? Any ideas?

I'd be glad to help with your question about paying bills in QBO, ashley-mandukasf.

 

The program gives you an option to record the bill payment and print the cheque so you can send it to your vendors. Let me show you how: 
 

  1. Go to the + New button and select Pay Bills. 
  2. Select the bill that you want to pay.
  3. Click the Save and print if you want to to print the cheque.
  4. Select Print.

If you're referring to electronically send the payment to your vendors, the feature is currently unavailable in QBO South Africa. You'll want to use a third-party app that offers bill payments. Here's how to look for an approved and accredited app:

 

  1. Go to the Apps menu and proceed to the Find Apps tab.
  2. Click the drop-down list for Browse category and select Make Payments.
