The Mac app keeps crashing

I have cleared the cache and reset the app data and it is still doing it. I have googled it and there are lots and lots of people with the same issue. has this been resolved and can you give me the answer?

I appreciate all the efforts that you've exhausted just to get this working. Let me share another set of troubleshooting steps that can fix this issue.

 

If you still have a copy of your QBO desktop app installer/executable file, you can uninstall and then reinstall the software to start over fresh. Unusual behaviors and system crashes are usually caused by damaged components.

 

However, if the same thing happens, I'd recommend getting in touch with our technical supports. This way, we'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment and conduct a series of tests to rectify the issue. Here's how:

 

  1. Log in to qbo.intuit.com. In the meantime, you can use the web version so you can get back to work.
  2. Once you're in, go to the Help icon.
  3. Select Talk to a human.
  4. Enter "Talk to a human" again in the search bar.
  5. Choose I still need a human, then click Contact us.
  6. Select Send a message to start a conversation.

Furthermore, please know that the QuickBooks Online Windows and Mac desktop apps will no longer be supported after April 20, 2021. This means you won't be able to download the app and receive customer support, software updates, and bug fixes anymore. Although, you can still use the app as long as your browser supports it.

 

I understand how difficult it must be to lose a feature that you’ve come to rely on. Let me give you a bit more context on why we made that change and how it will hopefully benefit you and other customers in the long run.

 

We decided to discontinue this product due to its limited use. That said, we’ve been able to allocate those resources to building other functionalities that matter to your business the most.
