Track Time - South African Companies

I've come to share details about running payroll for South African companies in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @Nicola _K.

For the time being, the feature to track time and run payroll in QBO (South Africa) isn't yet possible.  With this, we're unable to synchronize with your bank to make online payments for employees and contractors. However, you can record those transactions in your account manually by recording a payroll journal entry. To do this, here's how:

1. Go to the + New button.
2. Select Journal entry.
3. Add all the necessary information like the date, debit, and credit info.
4. Click Save and new or Save and close button once you’re done.

Once you're done, I'd recommend pulling up the Journal report. This way, you're able to monitor the year-to-date payments to your employees. To do this, go to the For my accountant section from the Reports menu's Standard tab.
