Transfer from Xero to QB online

Hi. We have a current company in QB who have purchased another company. How would I transfer the details from their Xero to the current QB without throwing out tax etc, so basically, having a history without it affecting the history of current company.

Allow me to share some information about the process of transferring data from Xero to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

We can transfer the data from Xero software into QBO by manually importing the data using .CSV file. The following information that can be imported to QBO includes Customers, Vendors, Accounts, and Products and Services. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Open the file download window for the toolkit.
  2. Then click Save.
  3. Go to your Windows Desktop, then select Save.
  4. Double-click QuickBooks_Import_Excel_and_CSV.exe on the desktop to open the WinZip Self-Extractor window.
  5. Choose Browse, select the folder where you'd like to install the toolkit, then click OK.
  6. Select Unzip to extract the contents, and then click Close to close the WinZip Self-Extractor window.
  7. Open the QuickBooks Import Excel and CSV folder from the location you selected in step #4.
